Summary of Congressional Activity
Résumés have been printed in the Congressional Record since the 80th Congress (1947-1948), though THOMAS has data only from the 91st (1969-1970). A Résumé appears in the first issue of the Daily Digest each month and accumulates data from all previous months of the current annual session. Sometime in the January after a session is completed, a final Résumé for that session appears. THOMAS links to the most recent Daily Digest Résumé for the current session of Congress and to the final Résumés for all preceding Congresses.

The Days in Session Calendar shows on a monthly basis for each session of Congress the days on which the House and/or the Senate were in session. THOMAS has calendars from the 94th Congress (in the case of the House) and the 95th Congress, 2nd Session (in the case of the Senate) through the 106th Congress.
